EPOXOL® 7-4 is a bio-based high oxirane epoxidized soybean oil (ESO). Our unique manufacturing process produces an exceptional ESO especially suited for general purpose PVC formulations, acid scavenging and as a chemical intermediate with multiple reactive sites.
Functions & Benefits
EPOXOL® 7-4’s oxirane makes it especially suited for applications including PVC, tubing, food wrap film and general purpose flexible PVC products. EPOXOL® 7-4 is effective in applications where an acid scavenger is required including lubricating oils, cutting oils and halogen-containing formulations. EPOXOL® 7-4 is an excellent chemical intermediate for a variety of products including polymers like polyols and polyesters.
