Epoxy Diluent
EPOXOL® EP189 is a bio-based highly functional epoxy diluent. It is low viscosity and exhibits excellent solvency in epoxy systems. EPOXOL® EP189’s long chain, aliphatic structure is non-yellowing and provides excellent toughness (abrasion resistance, impact resistance and flexibility). It is ultra-low VOC and may increase hydrophobicity in coatings. It is compatible with BPA, BPF and Novolac epoxies. Applications include epoxy coatings, flooring, potting compounds, laminates and civil engineering products.

Functions & Benefits
EPOXOL® EP189 is a highly functional epoxy diluent. It is 100% solids, provides excellent viscosity reduction and improves the overall toughness (abrasion resistance, impact resistance and flexibility) compared to traditional glycidyl ether diluents. EPOXOL® EP189 is non-chain terminating and may provide improved moisture resistant properties. It is not considered a skin or eye irritant. EPOXOL® EP189 is compatible with BPA, BPF and Novolac resins.
