EPOXOL® EMS, Epoxidized Methyl Soyate is a versatile product due to its epoxidation chemistry. It may be used as a resin modifier, reactive chemical intermediate, a diluent, lubricant, acid scavenger, and plasticizer. Bio Based and low viscosity, it is compatible with a variety of chemistries including epoxy, urethane, acrylic, and PVC.
Functions & Benefits
EPOXOL® EMS is a high oxirane content epoxidized methyl soyate. It functions as an effective viscosity reducer and diluent, compatibilizer, reactive intermediate, epoxy modifier, and plasticizer in a variety of resin systems. EPOXOL® EMS is hydrophobic and may also promote adhesion in a variety of formulations.
